Who We Are
Our team comprises six nationalities and is fluent in five languages. Collectively the team has over fifty years' experience in corporate finance, capital raising and asset management. Since inception, the team has been entrusted with the disposal of over one billion dollars' worth of illiquid hedge fund holdings, over a wide range of strategies and liquidity types.

Pascale Alvanitakis-Guély
Pascale has 20 years of experience as a consultant and investment banker advising financial institutions, hedge funds and private equity firms. She has worked at institutions including Arthur Andersen, UBS, DLJ and Lehman Brothers, where she was Managing Director in charge of Hedge Fund Banking for Europe. After the 2008 financial melt-down, Pascale has been focused on the secondary market of hedge funds, via Audentis Partners Limited, a hedge fund advisory firm she set up in March 2009, and which developed into Shelley Capital in 2010.
Pascale graduated from Lyon Business School (France) and has an MBA from Aston University (UK)

John Seilern
John has 20 years of marketing experience in hedge funds and is a co-founder of Shelley Capital. In 1990 he joined Alpha Asset Management, raising assets for its single-manager funds and fund-of-fund services. He became a partner in 1998, having developed an extensive network of relationships among private and institutional offshore investors.
Following the sale of Alpha in 2004, John co-founded Byron, a group specialized in the marketing and distribution of hedge funds.
John has a degree in political science from the University of Geneva.

Veronique Chapplow
Veronique has 15 years experience of investing and marketing. She was a marketing analyst at Deutsche Bank for 7 years specialising in the insurance sector. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, she worked at AXA Investment Managers as a research analyst covering banks and insurance and GAM as a European fund manager.
Veronique graduated from EPSCI – ESSEC group and holds an MBA from Heriot-Watt university.

Marc Horn
Marc joined Shelley Capital in 2010 after working for Pioneer Point Partners, a private equity investment firm. Previously, Marc spent three years at Duff & Phelps’ valuation team in London where he performed over fifty valuations of global businesses, business units, investments, and other vehicles for the purposes of financial reporting, fairness opinions, M&A advice, and other.
Marc holds an MBA from Oxford University and a BSc in Finance (Honours) from Lehigh University
